Background

I grew up in a Christian family of teachers and artists. Family gatherings included sing-alongs to piano or guitar as well as palm readings and coffee ground readings. I learned my psychic skills from my grandmother who was a gifted empath. It was common in my family to play "guessing games," such as predicting when a family member might arrive to dinner, and used visualization to acquire objects we wanted or needed in life. We used this visualization technique often to find the best parking spots. I love everything spiritual and artsy and used to teach yoga and visual arts classes full time before deciding to focus more on tarot.

Experience

When I began reading tarot, I had already been teaching school classes formally for 6 or 7 years. I feel this really helped me to deliver value in my readings right from the beginning as I was quite skilled at putting people at ease and explaining things in a way they could understand. I only later understood how my upbringing had prepared me to read and understand the cards. For a long time the information I picked up psychically seemed so obvious to me that I thought anyone could do it. Reading tarot for others has shown me that this is not the case and it is such a pleasure to be able to help others with this skill.

Methods

My first love for divination is tarot, but I also read many other oracle cards as well as tea leaves. I also practice bibliomancy which is when you open a beloved book to find your answer. I find that getting the answers you need all starts with asking the right question. And so I begin all readings by tuning in to the question you have asked. I then shuffle this question into the cards while asking for guidance specifically for you. While reading the guidance offered from the cards, I combine the traditional meanings of the images along with my own psychic skills. I am primarily claircognizant which means that I will suddenly just know something. But messages also come through feelings (clairsentience), visions (clairvoyance), or hearing (clairaudience). No matter how it arrives, my focus is on being a clear channel for whatever message needs to be delivered to you.
