Background

I grew up in Scotland and as both my mother and grandmother were open to anything fey, I was never laughed at when saying that I saw things that others did not see or felt that I knew something was about to happen. A Tarot reading from a remarkable man in Glasgow in 1976 started me on this magickal journey and I bought my first Tarot deck, though it was put aside for some years when I married and put my energies into raising my two children. Going through the painful breakdown of a long marriage and subsequent divorce left me feeling raw and vulnerable but it led me back to Tarot and back on my spiritual path. My jobs have always involved interacting with the public, sometimes in stressful situations, and I believe all these experiences help me to empathise with other people's concerns.

Experience

Although involved with Tarot for many years, I started reading professionally in 2002 and have read at spiritual fairs, local shops and in my own home. For me the best outcome of any reading is one where you, the querant, feel that you have regained control over whatever area of life has been troubling you. I don’t judge people or their situation, and of course my readings are completely confidential.

Methods

Reading Tarot, for me, is like translating a language. There are so many factors such as knowledge of the cards, a touch of numerology and astrology and the relationships of the elemental attributes of the four suits. The thing that binds it together is intuition; the "knowing" which is the right interpretation of those cards at that particular time for that particular person and situation. I also use Witch's Runes as another divination method, and these are particularly good for short concise readings.
